Choose the right spot

Find a place where you can be most productive. Working from your bed or the couch might be tempting, but it might hinder your efficiency. Also, you could end up associating your bed with your job, which could make it harder for you to relax after work.

Choose a place that’s quiet and away from the usual distractions. Your workspace should also have power outlets for your computer, printer, phone, and other work-related devices.
