COMPASS, a real estate company known for using technology to simplify the home buying and selling process, has opened an office in Anacortes. COMPASS has offices across the US in most major markets, but the Anacortes office is the first office in a town with a population under 50,000.

The Anacortes branch consists of the prior members of Jean Groesbeck and Associates. As part of the rebranding to COMPASS, Jean Groesbeck & Associates is now THE GROESBECK GROUP. The group is led by Jean Groesbeck, one of the top-performing brokers in Skagit county since 2002. Eileen Hebert is a long time Anacortes resident with both prior real estate and lending experience and has contributed to the team as a Luxury Real Estate Broker. Summer Heaton has been in the real estate business since and works full-time exclusively with buyers. Tabata Perron, also a licensed broker, has headed up Client Services and Marketing for the GROUP since 2014. COMPASS is based out of New York but has a regional office headquartered in the middle of Amazon’s headquarters campus in Seattle’s South Lake Union neighborhood. COMPASS was founded by Robert Reffkin a former CEO at Goldman Sachs. He cofounded COMPASS with Ori Allon whose resume includes Twitter, and Google after selling his tech startup.
